AI answers from stale data
Your hours changed last spring. Google Business, Yelp, Apple Maps and a dozen scraped directories all show different versions. A model picks whichever it can most easily verify — usually not yours.
For local businesses & multi-location brands
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews already answer “who’s the best near me?” thousands of times a day. They answer from whatever is already indexed — and if your data is thin or stale, they skip you. See whether you show up, what’s holding you back, and what to fix first.

The gap
Answer engines don’t read your rankings or your follower count. They read whatever they can retrieve and verify about you — and then decide, per question, whether you’re worth naming.
Your hours changed last spring. Google Business, Yelp, Apple Maps and a dozen scraped directories all show different versions. A model picks whichever it can most easily verify — usually not yours.
If a model can confirm three facts about you and eight about a competitor, it recommends the competitor. Confidence is the metric that matters, not star ratings.
There's no dashboard for 'customers ChatGPT sent somewhere else this week.' So we built the measurement layer for it.
The score
Ask ChatGPT how you’re doing and you get a friendly one-shot opinion that changes every time you ask. Local LiftUp runs the same test the same way, every time, so the number means something when you re-run it in 90 days.
Sample grade
Will AI name you at all when someone asks for the best in your category and area?
When you are named, are you #1 — or buried at #5 where nobody clicks?
Do you show up on intent and occasion questions — emergency, near me, weekend, budget, best for families?
Does your own site give a crawler something citable: services, pricing, hours, service area, structured data?
Methodology
If a model doesn’t respond during your scan, we exclude it from the score and say so on the report instead of filling in a number.
We match your business and category against live place data so we test the right entity, in the right city.
We put the same set of real customer questions to frontier models and a live-web engine that answers with citations.
We log which businesses each model names and in what order — verbatim, so nothing is paraphrased or invented.
We fetch every source the models cited and check it resolves, and whether it mentions you at all.
We read up to ten pages of your own site for the machine-readable signals engines need to describe you.
We keep AI Discovery Visibility and Website GEO Readiness separate, so you can see whether the gap is recommendations, your site, or both.
The deliverable
Two documents, one scan. The Snapshot is a one-page diagnosis: score, grade, score by model, three findings, five example questions with hit or miss, and your top competitor. The GEO Visibility Audit is the full evidence file.
Pricing
Every business gets a free visibility check. The audit is a one-time diagnostic — no subscription required. Monitoring is optional, and only worth it once you’ve fixed the basics.
