AI search visibility for local business

Does AI recommend your business?

Type any local business — restaurant, plumber, dentist, salon, law firm, gym. We ask AI assistants the questions your customers actually ask — live, right now — and score how visible you are in the answers.

Tip: include the city (e.g. "Business Name, Austin TX") for the most accurate report.

Enter a business above to run a live AI visibility scan — a real score from real model answers, the searches you win or lose, and who AI recommends instead.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from just asking ChatGPT about my business?

ChatGPT will give you a friendly-sounding score on the spot, but it's a one-shot opinion — ask twice and you'll get two different answers, and it often invents review counts it can't verify. Local LiftUp runs a repeatable test: the same set of customer questions, put to multiple frontier models, with every named business and its position recorded — so a re-run measures real progress.

Is this a real scan or a simulation?

Real. Every score comes from live model answers captured during your scan, plus a live crawl of your website and of every source the models cited. If a model doesn't respond, we exclude it from your score and say so on the report instead of filling in a number.

What does each part of the score mean?

AI Discovery Visibility measures whether assistants name you in unbranded local searches, using recommendation frequency, prominence, occasion coverage and citation presence. Website GEO Readiness is separate: it measures whether your own website exposes citable services, hours, area served and structured data. We never blend the two scores.

What's free and what's paid?

The free check is the diagnosis: your score and grade, your score by AI model, three findings explaining the score, the best-of questions with hit or miss, and your top competitor. The paid GEO Visibility Audit is the prescription, built from the same scan: every question tested with each model's verbatim answer, the citation-source map, the full competitor teardown, entity and schema gaps, technical GEO analysis with a fix list, revenue-weighted priorities, and a sequenced 90-day roadmap.

Does this only work for restaurants?

No. It works for any local business with a Google presence — home services, dentists and clinics, law and accounting firms, salons and spas, auto shops, gyms, retail, real estate. The question set adapts to your category, so a plumber is tested on emergency and quote questions, not brunch.

How quickly will I see results?

Most businesses see visibility changes within the first 30–60 days of executing the roadmap. AI platforms update as your citations improve, and it compounds as more of the pages engines read start naming you.

What if I already rank well on Google?

Great — but answer engines don't read Google rankings. Being on page one doesn't mean ChatGPT recommends you when a customer asks for a business like yours. Different retrieval, different strategy.

◱ How this works

We confirm your business and its category against Google's live place data, then ask frontier AI models — GPT-5.6, Gemini, and a live-web engine that answers with real citations — the everyday questions customers in your city actually ask. We record which businesses each model names and in what order, fetch every source the models cite and check whether it exists and whether it mentions you, crawl up to ten pages of your own site for the signals engines need. We report two independent results: AI Discovery Visibility from the live recommendations and Website GEO Readiness from your site. Every scan is kept, so each re-run shows movement against your last one and against other businesses in your category and city. Nothing is simulated: if a model doesn't respond, we exclude it and tell you. Results reflect each model's current knowledge and are educational, not a guarantee of ranking.
